YEAR 6 LEADERSHIP DAY

No better way to start the year than by combining Year 6 students from our 13 Public Schools to spend a day mixing, collaborating and developing leadership skills to hep build school culture and support younger students at our annual Leadership day. We can’t wait to see what they can achieve this year and beyond.

Do you care for someone aged 9-14 who could use a self confidence boost? Cessnock Library is proud to announce that we're holding a FREE Embrace Kids film screening during the school holidays for young people and their parents/carers!

A feature documentary for school-aged kids, EMBRACE: KIDS is an uplifting film by Taryn Brumfitt (EMBRACE 2016) which brings together a vibrant collection of stories from young people and famous friends alike, who share their experiences about body image, bullying, gender identity, advocacy, representation and more.
