***FRIDAY WRAP UP - TERM 3, WEEK 7***

Week 7 was all about celebrations:

• Boys Rugby 9s Team – Excellent achievements at Gala Day

• Debating Team – Won their first Regional debate in the knock-out challenge

• Jacqueline O from Year 6 – Selected to represent the Hunter/Central Coast region in the state debating challenge

• Kindergarten – Hands-on experience learning about farm life at Oakvale Farm

• P&C – successful Bunnings BBQ fundraising $1700 for our school & providing an excellent Father’s Day stall for our students

• Fathers and father figures – We celebrate and thank you for everything you do for our students.

How exciting!!
Get your friends together for a night of fun and laughter whilst supporting our P&C and school.

Our first ever Comedy for a Cause night will be held Saturday November 7th at Cessnock Leagues Club.
There are only 200 tickets available so get in early as this will sell out fast!
Bring along your friends for an adults only night of laughs and fun, with the funds raised going back to Cessnock West Public School.

***BOOK FAIR - ADVANCED OPENING***
Mrs Rolt will have the Book Fair open this afternoon from 3pm to 4pm for families who are unable to make it to the fair tomorrow.
Entry will be via regular end of school gates, exit will be via Gate 1 on Campbell street.

IF YOU HAVE ORDERED ONLINE THE PAPERWORK INCLUDING RECEIPT NUMBER AND THE TITLES OF THE ITEMS PURCHASED MUST BE RETURNED FOR US TO BE ABLE TO CONFIRM THE PURCHASES.

***REMINDER: BOOK FAIR OPENING HOURS FOR PARENTS***
A reminder that our book fair will be open extended hours for parents who might not be able to make it on book fair day.
The library will be open for sales at the following days/times.

* today (Wednesday August 19th) 3pm to 4pm.
* Friday August 21st. 2pm to 3pm.
*Wednesday August 26th 8.30am to 9am.
