Wow. Cessnock City Library shared this sweet photo from 1970. Do you know these 2 cutie pies?

Here’s a cuteness overload moment at West Cessnock Infants School in November 1970, when David Murray and Trudy-Anne Trevena took part in a ‘King of the Teddy Bears’ event. We love local history!
The photograph is from our Cessnock Eagle collection in Local Studies here at the Library.

***IMPORTANT UPDATE - CENTENARY DINNER CANCELLED***
It is with great sadness that we announce that we have received advice that our planned Centenary Dinner can NOT go ahead due to the ongoing covid crisis across the country.

Given the uncertainty of the situation, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the event completely instead of attempting to reschedule again.

It goes without saying that we are devastated with this outcome but must put the health and safety of everyone above anything else.

If you have purchased tickets, we will be in contact soon to organise refunds.
