βοΈ KE have been literacy superstars! Students have been learning to recognise and write phonemes, blend sounds to read and write words, and build their sight word knowledge. Through hands-on activities, songs, rhymes and movement, they are growing their confidence as readers and writers while even learning some Auslan along the way! πΆβοΈ

β¨ It is officially SHOWTIME! Our students are ready to step "Out of the Ordinary" for Star Struck 2026! β¨
After months of rehearsals, packing costumes, and endless dedication, the countdown is over. Our talented dancers are taking over the Newcastle Entertainment Centre arena floor. We could not be prouder of the hard work, passion, and teamwork our students have shown to bring this extraordinary showcase to life. π΄ Nulkaba PS Takes on Boccia! π΅
What an incredible day for our students at Nulkaba PS as they attended their very first Disability & Inclusion School Boccia Competition! π
Our team showed outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, determination and resilience throughout the day. For many of our students, this was a new experience, and they embraced every challenge with confidence, enthusiasm and plenty of smiles.
Boccia is a Paralympic precision ball sport that promotes strategy, inclusion and teamwork, giving students of all abilities the opportunity to compete and shine. Our students represented Nulkaba Public School with pride, encouraging one another, celebrating successes and demonstrating fantastic respect for fellow competitors.
