When my really-not-a-baby-anymore was told mid-arvo at the Royal Show if he wanted be carried it needed to be in a carrier not on my hip and he chose to walk I thought we might
really be done… but by the end of the night (having all ready fallen asleep pre-fireworks) both he and I were glad we still take the pre-school sized Meh Dai for big days out 💕

Sad news moving through the Australian Babywearing community as Fidella have decided to no longer ship to Aussie retailers or customers. The Fidella Flowclick and Flyclick half buckles are two of my most recommended carriers. I carry them in my library. The flow click is so very quick and easy to get on and perfectly conforms to newborns and any size wearer. The Flyclicks are beautiful and while I do love them from newbies, they are a got to for a comfy high back carry... letting your little one see the world as you do!

My girls dance concert is this weekend… their amazing dance family are working overtime to have everything ready… I want to help… but I cant sew or dance or arrange props… so I go with what I know. Take the teacher’s overtired, cranky miss and with a slightly damp meh dai to cool us both (ok it was just coz my toddler split a drink but it worked!)… and suddenly I am helping my friend in a meaningful way… and I get snuggles with this angel 💕💕💕

How do you get sleeping toddler (who doesnt regularly nap, but has crashed out at 2pm, stayed asleep while plonked on the couch and then transferred to car seat) into school to pick up sisters with out meltdown occurring??
Ring Sling for the win, yet again! How did I ever parent without these wonderful things?!!
Their usefulness never ends... and I’ve worn 5month old and 15month old ‘nieces’ in the same one this week too!

What have you been up to this weekend? I’ve been making some new babywearing buddies and trying out some now skills at Australian Babywearing Association course...
suffice to say my twin wrapping has come a long way (DO NOT tie a wrap like this!) but is still in the early stages...

Had a great weekend camping in the bush over the long weekend. Unlocked a new baby wearing achievement: Get overtired toddler, who is wearing rain pants, jacket and boots into the meh Dai, while walking in the rain. He didn't go to sleep... but you cant have everything!!
