MORE GOOD NEWS! Variety Victoria have generously allocated a $3500 grant to Cavendish Primary School for the purchase of bikes. We have ordered 10 new bikes for use at playtimes, and for Health and Physical Education. We plan on using fundraising money to purchase more bikes and helmets so everyone can have a turn. How awesome will it be if we can revamp our fitness track and use it for biking as well! THANK YOU Variety.

A HUGE THANK YOU FROM OUR SCHOOL TO OUR COMMUNITY. News just in - thanks to the efforts of Jack and Carly Behncke, and Rick Luhrs, and our generous donors, we have raised over $5500 from our Sheep Drive! We are so grateful to everyone. We plan to use this money to upgrade areas of our playground, including revamping our fitness track and landscaping a sensory/imaginary play space next to our cubby.

Celebrating NAIDOC - 50 Years of Deadly. We had a great day, celebrating our Indigenous Australian culture. Did you know that Indigenous Australians represent the oldest continuous living culture on Earth? This is an amazing fact, and makes us proud to be Australians and celebrate. We cooked kangaroo and talked about Bush Tucker, we read a dreaming story "How the Birds got their Colours, and created a collaborative Art Work. And we played traditional games from around Australia.

The Cavendish Primary School Community would like to express our sympathy to Jo Tully and family on the passing of Chris. Chris provided school bus transportation to our students for many years and the students very much enjoyed his company. Our thoughts are with you all.

THANK A FIRST RESPONDER DAY Wednesday 10th June. We will be dressing up as First Responders, and bringing a gold coin donation to raise funds for Victoria Police Legacy.
We would also like to invite any members of our Cavendish Community (CFA, Paramedics, Doctors, Nurses, Vets, SES etc) to join us for morning tea at 11:30am. Please contact the Office on 03 55742282 if you would like to join us as we thank our First Responders.
