Oakhill once again came together for Jersey Day, with students and staff proudly wearing their favourite jerseys. Jersey Day raises awareness of organ and tissue donation and encourages everyone to have the conversation with their loved ones and register their wishes. For Oakhill, the day is also an opportunity to honour the legacy of alumni Nathan Gremmo (Class of 2019), whose gift of organ donation helped save the lives of six others and inspired a national movement promoting organ donation awareness.

At this morning's Father's Day Mass, that was filled to the rafters, we reflected on the power of generosity, compassion and service to others. Nathan's story continues to remind us that even in the face of tragedy, one person's legacy can have a lasting impact on countless lives.

As part of the day's celebrations, the annual Year 8 Father and Son Touch Football match once again brought families together in a spirit of fun, community and friendly competition, followed by breakfast served by our Lasallian Youth Leaders.

As our 90 Year celebrations continue, we set another creative challenge to honour this significant milestone. As part of Mission Action Week, senior Houses were challenged to create a giant "90" using staff and students, and the results were incredible.

From thoughtful planning to imaginative designs, the creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm were outstanding. It was wonderful to see so many unique interpretations and a strong spirit of community come together to celebrate 90 years of Oakhill College.

A fantastic evening of fun, community and generosity at our Lasallian Bingo Night, with more than $12,000 raised in support of our upcoming Service Immersion Tours to India and the Philippines.

These funds directly support the purchase of materials, equipment and resources used by our staff and students while working with local Lasallian communities on projects that help create more sustainable and improved living conditions.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered and contributed to making the night such a wonderful success.

A fantastic day on the course at the 2026 Oakhill College P&F Golf Day at Lynwood Golf & Country Club, sponsored by Shire Realty.

With great golf, friendly competition and plenty of community spirit from our alumni and College supporters, the event was a wonderful success for all involved. Congratulations to Team Valour, who were crowned this year's winning team.

A fitting end on the weekend to the Girls Football and Netball season, with our teams demonstrating skill, determination and teamwork in every match. Several games were decided by the narrowest of margins, including a heartbreaking one goal defeat for our 1sts Netball just before the whistle. Our Premiership teams were: 4th and 7ths Netball teams.

Every team represented the College with pride, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the season. Congratulations to all players and coaches and supporters.

Saturday's Football Finals provided a fitting finale to a remarkable season. Premiership wins for our 14A, 14B and 13A teams capped off a finals series filled with thrilling contests, several penalty shoot outs and outstanding displays of teamwork, camaraderie and determination. With many matches so closely fought they could have gone either way, it was a tremendous showcase of Oakhill Football at its best.

At the National Model United Nations Assembly, Michael R and Andrew S-C (Year 11) represented the State of Israel with distinction, demonstrating confidence, critical thinking and exceptional public speaking throughout the competition.

They presented well researched and persuasive arguments, engaged thoughtfully with complex global issues, and delivered articulate and effective rebuttals in response to opposing viewpoints.

Competing against a strong field of delegates, including teams representing India, Lebanon and Poland, Michael and Andrew achieved an impressive 4th Place overall.

Led by Mrs Richards, their performance earned widespread praise from Rotarians, adjudicators, Secretary Generals, guest speakers and teachers from participating schools, who commended their professionalism, preparation and leadership. We congratulate Michael and Andrew on this outstanding achievement and the way they represented the College.

Join us in congratulating our 2027 Student Leadership Team. Chosen from an outstanding field of candidates, these students have earned the opportunity to represent and lead their peers. We look forward to seeing the contribution they will make to the Oakhill community in the year ahead.
