This beautiful cat painting was done in the French Fauvist style by our 13 year old young artist Michelle.

Fauvism is an early 20th-century art movement in France characterized by vivid, non-naturalistic colours and bold, expressive brushstrokes. Artists used pure, high-keyed colours straight from the paint tube, ignoring the actual colours found in nature.

🔴Remembering Yayoi Kusama 🔴

We say goodbye to one of Japan’s most extraordinary and influential artists, Yayoi Kusama, who has died aged 97. She was also one of our favourite artists.

From her iconic polka dots and pumpkins to her mesmerising Infinity Mirror Rooms, Kusama transformed her unique vision of the world into art that captivated millions.

Her incredible imagination, bold creativity and lifelong dedication to art will continue to inspire generations of young artists. ❤️🎨

Thank you, Yayoi Kusama, for showing us that there are no limits to imagination.

Foam printing is always a favourite and we don’t have to worry about fingers getting cuts while Lino printing. Our 13 year old young artist is printing her owl series here. It will be developed further with more drawing on the foam and extra colours printed on top .
