We just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you for supporting our Pie Drive fundraiser. We raised a whopping $1404.50!!
A very big thank you also to Robyn, Sally and Katie for your incredible help in sorting through the 430 pies into their orders, it was a big task!

We are excited to see what wonderful resources we can add to our preschool with the fundraising money. ❤

Little Learners Parent Information Session

With Little Learners beginning soon, we would like to invite our 2027 Kindergarten families to a short Parent Information Session on Monday 24th August.

The session is designed to help families feel prepared and confident for Little Learners, with an overview of staff, routines, arrival and collection procedures, what to bring, and what to expect each week.

To make it easier for families to attend, we are offering the same information session at two times: 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm.

The session will run for approximately 20 minutes, with time for any questions you may have.

We look forward to meeting with you and helping make the start of Little Learners a positive experience for your child and family.

What an amazing way to wrap up a fun week learning all about trucks and the important jobs they do in our community. 🚛🚚
Today we had a visit from Charles and Troy from Forest Enterprises - FEDC in one of their amazing trucks. The children had so much fun learning about the truck and about the different things that FEDC cart in their trucks.
We can’t thank Charles and Troy enough for taking time out of their busy day to visit the children and let them explore their amazing truck. It was definitely looking show ready! ❤️

Enjoy the parade tomorrow! We look forward to seeing some amazing pictures next week from all the fun at the truck show.

We had a very special visit at preschool this morning! 🚚🚛
Thank you so much to Bobby and Ruby King from Kingsbrae Bulk Haulage for bringing a very shiny truck to preschool!
The children had a wonderful time learning about the different trucks that Kingsbrae have and all the different loads they carry.
Of course the best part was when they got to sit in the truck! So much fun!
Thanks again to Bobby and Ruby for generously giving their time to our preschool. ❤️

Reminder that Term 3 starts for children on Tuesday the 21st of July.
On Monday staff will be busy completing their First Aid training and planning for the term ahead.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone back for Term 3! ❤️

Today is our last day for Term 2. We have had a wonderful term making friendships and memories together!
We will welcome children back to preschool for Term 3 on Tuesday the 21st of July as Monday will be a staff development day.

🥧🥧 Pie Drive Fundraiser 🥧🥧

We will be running a Pie Drive as our next fundraiser, and you can collect an order form from the preschool.

We will be supporting King's Pies for this fundraiser, and we thank them for supplying some yummy pies!

Pie orders and money will need to be returned to the office by Monday the 10th of August (week 4) and pies will be ready for collection on Tuesday the 18th of August (week 5) in the afternoon. Once the pies have arrived and been sorted into orders, we will put a message on Kindyhub and Facebook to let you know they are ready for collection.

Payments can be made to the office in CASH (correct money only please) or can be transferred directly into our Fundraising Account. Please note that this is a different account to the fee account. Details are on the order form.

Please only make one payment per order form for ease of keeping track of who has paid. If you make a transfer into the fundraising account, please use your name and Pie Drive as a reference.

Hi Families,

We are after some feedback about what you would prefer for our next fundraiser for preschool.

We were considering doing a Pie Drive but also had in mind a Father's Day Raffle. Doing both would be a bit much, and we don't want to put too much financial pressure on families when things are already tight!

The pie drive ends up being a bigger expense, but everyone gets something out of it (if you place an order of course) whereas a raffle could be a smaller expense, as you could purchase as many (or as few) tickets as you would like, but there only ends up being s few winners and not everyone gets something out of their purchase. We also have noticed a number of schools/sports clubs etc are doing Pie drives at the moment so please let us know if you have had an opportunity to purchase pies elsewhere and would prefer to support a raffle.

If we do a pie drive, we feel it would be best to do it early next term, while the weather is still cool and families can enjoy some warm and yummy pies for dinner. We can always do a raffle for our Term 4 fundraiser instead and make it a Christmas raffle.

Any thoughts on this would be so appreciated! We certainly don't want to put any strain on families and appreciate all that you do to support our preschool.
