Kookaburra Early Learning Centre Kookaburra Early Learning is a privately owned Long Day Care Centre located in Casino NSW.

We are committed to excellence in early childhood learning and your child’s future is important to us. Kookaburra Early Learning is a purpose built, private Long Day Care Centre and is locally owned and licensed by Lynn Snyman and Carol Pyke-Nott and is managed by Quality Management Team. The Centre contains 4 rooms which cater to children’s specific age groups and level of development. These are

our Burbi Room (0-2 years), Binging Room (2-3 years), Gurrahman Room (3-4 years) and Junbung Room (4-5 years). Burbi Room (0-2 years),
Our Burbi Room caters to children aged from 6 weeks to 2 years of age and is separated into two parts. The Infant Nook is for children under 10 months and provides a safe space to engage in tummy time experiences and learning. The room is spacious and equipped with age-appropriate and stimulating toys to foster their development. The Burbi room also has their very own playground for outdoor learning and exploration. Children have individual eat/sleep routines which change to meeting growing needs. Binging Room (2-3 years)
The Binging Room features a long room for toddlers to learn through play-based learning. Children interests are embedded into the program which provide the foundation of their learning. Children have access to a wide ride of materials have access to a newly renovated playground. The outdoor learning space contains a sandpit, dirtpit, fort, garden beds and water table to aid investigation and exploration. Gurrahman Room (3-4 years)
The Gurrahman room encourages children to collaborate in both in both small and large group settings. The spacious room is supplied with custom sized furniture to encourage children’s sense of autonomy and to allow them to safely access resources at their height level to encourage choice and independent play. Junbung Room (4-5 years)
The large Junbung room caters for children the year before school. Children engage in a wide range of experiences which prepare them for formal schooling. Children have access to an interactive whiteboard and engage in the Letter of the Week program. The room is arranged into specific zones of learning and functionality. These areas are flexible and will change according to children’s interests, growth and development.

💙 Father’s Day Afternoon Tea 💙

Attention Kookaburra Families,

We are excited to invite you to our Father’s Day Afternoon Tea on Thursday 3rd September, from 2:00pm–3:00pm.

We welcome the special men in the children’s lives who attend Kookaburra Early Learning, including dads, uncles, pops, grandfathers or anyone who is seen by your child as a father figure to join us.

On arrival, our guests will be welcomed with some delicious nibblies at the entrance before heading into your child’s room, where some special activities will be taking place.

We look forward to celebrating with you.

Daffodil Day Tomorrow– Friday 21st August 💛

We would love to see all our children & staff dressed in yellow tomorrow, to celebrate Daffodil Day and help raise awareness and support for those affected by cancer.

Let’s brighten up the day with lots of yellow 🌼💛

** Also just a reminder that the MND raffle books and money are due back tomorrow (Friday) as we will be drawing the raffle THIS Sunday at our Charity golf day. ** Thanks.

Little Learners Parent Information Session

With Little Learners beginning soon, we would like to invite our 2027 Kindergarten families to a short Parent Information Session on Monday 24th August.

The session is designed to help families feel prepared and confident for Little Learners, with an overview of staff, routines, arrival and collection procedures, what to bring, and what to expect each week.

To make it easier for families to attend, we are offering the same information session at two times: 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm.

The session will run for approximately 20 minutes, with time for any questions you may have.

We look forward to meeting with you and helping make the start of Little Learners a positive experience for your child and family.

Kookaburra Early Learning is so excited to announce all of the wonderful businesses who have generously contributed to our MND Fundraiser Raffle.

We have bundled all of the amazing donations into prize packs, with plenty of prizes to suit everyone. 🎁✨

🎟️ Raffle tickets are available now from Kookaburra Early Learning

We will also be selling tickets at The Royal Casino this Thursday afternoon and again Saturday afternoon/evening, so come on down and grab your tickets while supporting a very important cause. 💙
