Today, all students across our school participated in an R U OK?Day activity, learning about the importance of checking in with others, listening with care and knowing that even a simple conversation can make a difference.

From our Foundation students through to Year 6, the focus was on reminding students that we can all play a part in looking out for the people around us — not just today, but every day.

Footy Day + Sausage Sizzle Lunch (Compass Shop Orders OPEN)

Get ready for a fun-filled Footy Day on Friday 18 September, including a delicious sausage sizzle lunch proudly brought to you by our Parent Association!

Students are encouraged to come dressed in the colours of their favourite AFL, Soccer or NRL team and show their team spirit throughout the day!
Sausage Sizzle Lunch
Sausage sizzle lunches are available to purchase through the Compass Shop:
• Combo 1 – $5: 1 sausage & drink
• Combo 2 – $7.50: 2 sausages & drink
Please make sure you jump onto the Compass Shop to purchase your sausage sizzle lunch.

Vegetarian options are available.
Please place your order through the Compass Shop and email [email protected] to let us know that you require a vegetarian option.

Second Hand Uniform Donations Wanted!
As we get ready for our upcoming Second-Hand Uniform Sale, we are asking our wonderful school community for your help!

Do you have good-quality, clean school uniforms that your children have grown out of or no longer need? We would love to give them a second life and help another Banyan Fields family!

We are looking for donations of:
- School shirts & polo tops
- Pants & shorts
- Skorts & skirts
- Jumpers & jackets
- Other school uniform items in good condition

Donations can be dropped off at the school office.

Every donation helps us provide affordable uniform options for our families while also supporting a more sustainable school community.

With just two weeks of Term 3 to go, we have some exciting events coming up! Don’t forget about our Working Bee, Second Hand Uniform Sale, and Footy Day + Sausage Sizzle Lunch. We look forward to seeing our school community get involved and finishing the term on a high!

We all experience life’s ups and downs, and we don’t need to wait for one special day to check in with the people around us. If someone is on your mind, trust your instinct and start the conversation.

Take the time to notice, ask, listen and show that you care. Sometimes, simply knowing that someone is there and ready to listen can mean more than we realise.

At Banyan Fields, we encourage our students to look out for one another, show kindness and help create a community where everyone feels supported and connected.

What a wonderful Father’s Day at Banyan Fields Primary School!

Congratulations to our amazing Parents Association on running another successful Father’s Day Stall! It was so much fun watching our students carefully choose special gifts for their loved ones.

Our Father’s Day Afternoon Tea was also a great success! It was a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the special people in our lives, with plenty of smiles, photos, delicious donuts and coffee.

Events like these simply wouldn’t be possible without the time, energy and dedication of our incredible Parents Association.

A special welcome to the couple of new faces who joined our team today — we truly appreciate you giving your time and bringing your enthusiasm and spark to our team!
