A traditional style of Hapkido with focus on self improvement and efficient and effective self protection. Classes for children (ages 5-13) and Adults (13+

Hapkido is a dynamic and effective martial art. A non tournament style with powerful kicking and striking and manipulation techniques. The focus is not to bigger, stronger or faster. The focus is to blend and manipulate an aggressor. The best way to win a fight is not to have to fight, self protection begins before the first words are spoken in anger.

Training tonight is on.
Next week no training Tuesday but at this stage should be back for Friday. Hoping will be back to normal after this lockdown.

Sorry guys, still having issues with getting the insurance organised (not being refused) so still can’t get hall. Hoping that next week (Tuesday 9th) will be all systems go. Sorry, very frustrated!

Training is set to restart on February 2nd (Tuesday). Paperwork completion pending but I’m confident!

We are hoping to resume training Tuesday January 19th. Just waiting to get insurance sorted so we can officially kick things off again. It’s been a long wait and not wanting to extend any longer so fingers crossed!
I’ll confirm dates once I know but still holding out for Tuesday!

Due to Corona Virus the Community Centre is closed and therefore we are not training until further notice.
Stay safe and healthy and I will see everyone back at training hopefully in the not too distant future.

A reminder there is no class tomorrow (Friday 29/11) due to the Community Centre’s Twilight Market.
Dave and Mal will be there talking with people and showcasing what we teach.

Excellent grading today, well done by everybody! Special mention to Orhan, kept getting up every time, magnificent heart and spirit and a very well deserved Black Belt!
Big efforts in both kids and adults, Nick did a fantastic job grading in with the adults.
Huge thanks to Sam, Jack and Duncan for all their help and support.
Very proud to be part of this with you all.
