We are proud to share a wonderful example of compassion and leadership from one of our students, Mia, a Mini Vinnie, who recently heard at church about the Winter Shelter’s need for support during the colder months. Inspired to help, Mia took the initiative to write a letter to Zeeta Andrew, Religious Education Leader, suggesting that we reach out to our school community for donations.
We are now inviting our school community to support this important cause by donating simple snack items for those accessing the Winter Shelter. Items such as Tiny Teddies, muesli bars, and other non-perishable snack foods would be greatly appreciated.
Donation boxes will be available at the school office for families to drop off contributions. Every small item helps make a difference and brings comfort to those in need during winter.
We thank Mia for her thoughtful initiative and encourage our community to come together in the spirit of care, generosity, and service to others.

A huge congratulations to a past St Joachim’s student, Benjamin (Benjo) Ibralic on his basketball success!
Benjo will be continuing his academic and athletic journey at Baker University in the United States! He has earned a full scholarship and will be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science.
This is a tremendous achievement and a testament to his hard work, dedication, and perseverance. His family couldn't be prouder of everything he has accomplished and are excited to see what the future holds for him and so are we at St Joachim’s.
Benjo started his basketball career right here at the St Joachim’s Panthers.
What a huge commitment by Benjo and his family to enable Benjo to get this experience.
