Celebrating Our School’s External Validation Success 🎉

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to share some wonderful news about our school’s success in today's External Validation process conducted by the NSW Department of Education.

External Validation is a rigorous process where schools present evidence of their progress and achievements against the School Excellence Framework. A panel of experienced Department of Education leaders reviews our self-assessment and confirms our progress in key areas of practice and improvement.

This year, our school was validated on all 14 elements of the framework, with confirmation that we are meeting strong standards in 12 areas (Sustaining and Growing). Most impressively, we moved up to Excelling in two elements within the framework. This means our school has been recognised for outstanding performance, innovation, and sustained impact for our students and community.

Much of this achievement is thanks to the leadership and dedication of Miss Simmons and Mrs Ayache, who worked tirelessly to gather evidence and showcase our school’s story. Their commitment and professionalism have set a benchmark for our school.

Our achievements are a reflection of our dedicated staff, our engaged parent community, and our shared commitment to providing the very best for your children.

Put simply, you can rest assured that your child attends an amazing school.

Children can start Kindergarten at the beginning of the school year if they turn 5, on or before 31 July, 2026.
Please contact the school office on 9724 1850 or scan the QR code to submit an online enrolment.
A Kindergarten Orientation letter will be posted this term so please ensure your child has been enrolled.

This week, schools across NSW are celebrating School Support Recognition Week 2025 – a chance to say a big THANK YOU to the incredible staff who help make every school day possible.

Here at Carramar PS, we’re lucky to have an amazing team of school administrative and support staff (SASS) and non-teaching staff.

These are the people who keep our school running smoothly, support our students, and lend a hand to staff and families every single day. We’d be lost without them!

School Visit! ✨️📚
Today, some of our student leaders had the privilege of meeting Mr. John Kennedy (Director Educational Learning for Auburn) and Ms. Jan Green (Executive Director Met South Schools). During their visit and a brief tour of our school, both were impressed by what makes our school so special! A special thanks to our student leaders.
