🌏 Celebrating Culture, Connection and Diversity

Throughout Terms 2 and 3, our students have been participating in the Cultural Connections Program in partnership with the Centre for Multicultural Youth.

Each Friday, students come together to share stories, celebrate culture and learn from one another's experiences. The pride, confidence and engagement shown throughout the program has been inspiring to see.

It has been wonderful to witness the pride, confidence and excitement our students bring to these gatherings while celebrating the rich diversity that makes our school community so special.

Father’s Day Breakfast | 4 September 2025

🚀 Mission to Mars is underway! 🤖

Our Year 10 STEM: Mission to Mars students have been hard at work assembling the chassis, battery pack and solar panel of their Martian Rovers. This hands on project is developing their engineering, design and problem-solving skills as they prepare to test their rovers in a range of exciting investigations.

We can't wait to see these rovers in action.

Recently a group of our Year 8 cohort embarked on a Faith Formation Day in Melbourne, exploring our rich Catholic heritage.

Students rotated through significant sites including St Patrick’s Cathedral and St Francis’ Church, and learned about two inspiring homegrown holy women, St. Mary MacKillop (Australia’s first official Saint) and Ven. Sr Mary Glowrey (the world’s first Sister-Doctor).

The theme of the day, “The NOW of God,” invited students to reflect on how the faith lived by those who came before us is still alive today. Through the stories of our Catholic history, they were encouraged to consider how they can live their own “now” with purpose, compassion and openness to God’s call.

Recently, nine of our students from Year 9 and 10 travelled to Adelaide, South Australia, to attend the 2026 Australian Space Forum and engage in a range of Space and STEM related activities.

From meeting Australia's first female astronaut to exploring cutting-edge space technology, tackling the Mission to Mars challenge, building CubeSats and stargazing under one of Australia's darkest skies, students enjoyed an unforgettable four-day experience.

Throughout our time in Adelaide, students were inspired by leaders in the Australian space industry, developed their teamwork and problem-solving skills, and discovered the exciting opportunities that STEM can offer. It was an adventure filled with learning, laughter and memories that will last a lifetime.

The opportunity was made possible after a previous group of students at Catholic Regional College Caroline Springs students won a National STEM Grant awarded by the Andy Thomas Space Foundation.

🇦🇺🇵🇭Cultural Diversity Week 🇮🇶🇸🇸

At Catholic Regional College Caroline Springs we are incredibly proud of our very first Cultural Diversity Week, a milestone that celebrated the many cultures, traditions and stories that make up our College community. The week involved a number of activities, including a Cultural Dress Day where many students came to school in either traditional attire, flags and other clothing representing their cultural background. We hope this becomes a cherished tradition that continues to remind us that our diversity is something to be celebrated, and that together we create a stronger, more connected school community.

Congratulations to all of our students who proudly represented the College at the SACCSS Chess Competition.

A special congratulations to Joshua, who achieved an outstanding 2nd place in the Junior Division. This is a wonderful achievement and a reflection of his dedication, strategic thinking, and ability to perform under pressure.

We are incredibly proud of all our competitors for the way they represented the College with pride, respect, and determination. Well done to everyone involved for your efforts and achievements!

Congratulations to the Year 7 Girls Netball Team winning the Division 2 SACCSS Netball Grand Final yesterday afternoon.

The girls were undefeated all season, an amazing team effort! Final score was 31-11.
