Carnarvon School of the Air would like to extend a sincere thank you to Connellan Trust for their generous contribution towards our Canberra excursion. 💙
This generous support helped reduce the cost of the excursion for our families and complemented the wonderful fundraising efforts of the CSOTA P&C, helping make this memorable educational experience possible for our students.
Travelling from remote Western Australia to Canberra provided our students with an incredible opportunity to experience learning beyond the classroom. They visited important national institutions, developed a greater understanding of Australia’s history, government and democracy, and shared experiences and memories that will stay with them for many years to come.
We are incredibly grateful to Connellan Trust for recognising the importance of providing opportunities for students living in rural and remote communities.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ INTERSCHOOL ATHLETICS CARNIVAL – DAY 1! 🏆🎉

Today marks the beginning of our two-day Interschool Athletics Carnival, and we are excited to welcome students, staff and families from schools across our district!

It’s wonderful to see everyone coming together for two fantastic days of sport, teamwork, friendly competition and school spirit. 🌟

A huge thank you to all the staff, volunteers, families and supporters who help make events like this possible.

Carnarvon School of the Air sincerely thanks the Trust for its generous grant of $7,000 towards our Canberra excursion.
This funding helps keep costs low for families, assists the CSOTA P & C fundraising efforts and provided our students with the opportunity to travel from remote Western Australia to Canberra for a valuable educational experience. Students visited significant national institutions, deepened their understanding of Australia’s history and democracy, and created lasting memories with their peers.
We are extremely grateful to the Connellan Airways Trust for supporting educational opportunities for rural and remote students. Your contribution made a meaningful difference to our students and families.

📣 Have you claimed the WA Student Assistance Payment for children in your care this year?

If not, there’s still time to apply! All applications must be received by Friday, 25 September.

If you have children in your care who are enrolled at school, you may be eligible to receive this one-off payment for each child:

🎒 $150 for each primary school student

Claims can be submitted online; however, for families who may prefer an alternative option, a digital copy of the application form was emailed to families today. This form can be completed and returned via email.

If you need help completing the form for the children in your care, please call the office and we will be happy to assist you.
