On Wednesday, 5th August, we celebrated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day!

Here’s a little peek at some of the wonderful activities and experiences our students enjoyed throughout the day.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to celebrate culture, connection, identity and community, while learning more about the rich cultures and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

🎨 Perenjori Show Art Awards

Congratulations to our Year 7 and 8 students who entered their artwork in the Perenjori Show children section art awards!

We are incredibly proud of our students, with some fantastic results:

🥇 1st Place – 1 award
🥈 2nd Place – 2 awards
🥉 3rd Place – 1 award

A huge congratulations to all our students who participated and shared their creativity and talent. It is wonderful to see our students getting involved and proudly showcasing their artwork in the wider community.

High Jump Fun! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A big thank you to Mrs Opalinski for teaching our Year 3/4/5/6 students high jump on Tuesday. The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had a fantastic time learning and practising their skills. 🌟

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Well done to all of our students who travelled to the Eneabba Cross Country!

Congratulations to everyone who represented Carnamah District High School with determination, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude. It was a very successful day for our school, and we are incredibly proud of each and every student who participated.
