I'd like to share a personal story to illustrate the power of authentic networking. A few years ago, I attended a sustainability conference where I met a fellow entrepreneur who was equally passionate about creating a positive impact on the planet. Instead of jumping straight into business talk, we spent the next few weeks online discussing our shared values, life experiences, and vision for a sustainable future.

This authentic connection led to a meaningful collaboration. We eventually partnered on several projects through the Asia Venture Fund, driving significant environmental impact.

Our relationship grew beyond professional collaboration; we became close friends, supporting each other’s growth and success. This experience reaffirmed my belief in the power of genuine connections and how they can lead to unexpected, yet highly rewarding opportunities.
