We have put up our bee hotel today! 🤩 the children have all participated in the creation of this little environment.

We made the bee/bug hotel together. The kinder 2 created a sign. We installed a bee and bird bath and the children then questioned why don’t they have food?

So we also put a feeder where we will start researching what is safe to feed the birds in Australia without harming the environment.

At Nido Carlisle, we are particularly interested and passionate about bees. 🐝

The children know how to be careful when handling them in the yard. What safety procedures we have to take if we see one. How to protect them.

Today we made a bee hotel together that will start our bee feeding station at the front of our center. The children collected nature loose parts during the week and we used them today to create our very first bee hotel!

We missed it, you missed it, so we brought it back! After talking with the children and a couple of our families, we have decided that the community library had to come back.

Located right by the fish tank, our library community library is back!

• Borrow: Take a book home or read it on our comfy couch.
• Return: Bring it back whenever you’re finished so someone else can enjoy it.
• Donate: If you have spare books at home, please consider donating them to our collection!

This Wednesday we will celebrate our educators amazing work at Nido! Some of our educators have been with us for as long as 7 years, others have only just joined our family and we value every single one of them!

We encourage our families to take a minute and stop at our display during the week and leaving a small message to recognise your favourite educators commitment!

Cards will be available in the corridor near our display for this effect ☺️
