Harmony Week at Gateway Community High 💙
A moment to pause, connect and enjoy time together.
Students and school team came together to share food, have fun, and celebrate the cultures that make our community strong.
When students feel connected, they feel supported — and that’s where wellbeing begins. 💛

Real impact. Real stories. Real change.
At Gateway Community High, we’re seeing what’s possible when young people are supported to Achieve. Belong. Grow.
Our 2025 Social Impact Report highlights what matters most:
✨ +12% increase in hope
✨ +10% stronger supportive friendships
✨ +8% greater sense of purpose
✨ +6% more pride in self
✨ +5% improvement in overall wellbeing
But beyond the numbers, it’s the voices of our students that say it best:
“I’ve gone from hating school, to hating not going to school.”
This is what meaningful education looks like.

We are proud to see Gateway Community High featured in The Daily Telegraph for our work supporting students who thrive in alternative learning environments.
The article shares the story of a Gateway Year 12 graduate who once doubted he would finish Year 10. With the support of the Gateway team, he completed school and is now studying at Macquarie University to become a teacher.
At Gateway, we believe every young person deserves a school where they feel safe, supported and able to succeed. We are proud to continue creating a school environment where young people can Achieve.Belong.Grow.
If you have Daily Telegraph subscription we encourage you to read the full article, the link is in the first comment.

We love our Wellbeing Wednesdays - the days of inspiration and fun for both the students and staff.
Wellbeing Wednesday gives students the opportunity to explore new skills and express themselves through hands-on activities.
A fantastic piece of creative work from one of our GCH students during Sewing elective.
This beautiful creation represents the ocean and a whale shark - such a wonderful display of creativity, patience and talent, is not it?
