Every new belt has a story behind it. 🥋

Our September grading was an opportunity for students to demonstrate what they’ve been learning—and take another step forward in their karate journey.

From the focus of the grading test to the pride of receiving a new belt, these moments recognise the practice, patience and perseverance that go into progress.

Congratulations to our students who achieved their next grade. We’re proud of your effort and look forward to helping you build on it.

Thank you to our instructors and grading panel for their guidance, and to our families for their continued support.

Wear your new belt with pride, and keep learning. 👏

100 kata. One shared challenge. 🥋

Join us for Roubas Karate’s 100 Kata Day!

📅 Saturday, 24 October 2026
🕙 10:00 am
📍 Carlingford Dojo

We’re celebrating karate and its Okinawan roots alongside the worldwide 100 Kata for Karate Day Challenge, held globally on 25 October.

You don’t need 100 different kata—just repeat kata you know, work at your own pace and enjoy training together.

Keep practising, bring your water bottle, and let’s take it one kata at a time! 💧

Who’s joining us? 👊

Four students. One exciting next step. 🥋🏅

Following the AMAC NSW State Titles, four Roubas Karate students have qualified for the Australian Titles this December!

They’re now back in the dojo preparing for the end-of-year tournament—building their skills, sharpening their focus and supporting one another along the way.

We’re proud of their achievement and the commitment they bring to training. Thank you to the families and instructors who continue to encourage them.

Join us in congratulating our four qualifiers! 👏
