๐ฟโจ Thatโs a wrap on Milson Island 2025! โจ๐ฟ
Year 6 returned home on Friday full of stories, laughs and memories that will stay with them long after primary school. Now that the bags are unpacked, weโre sharing one final collection of photos that capture their Milson Island adventure.
From archery and obstacle courses to working together to build rafts, these moments show just how much they enjoyed their experience.
A huge thank you to the teachers who not only accompanied the students on camp, but also captured these photo memories for us to share.

Year 6 Camp Day 2 Highlights: Part 2 ๐ฅ๐
Year 6 rolled up their sleeves for damper cooking, enjoying the chance to mix, shape and cook their own creations. They even worked together to clean-up the mess hall!
The afternoon wrapped up with the ever-popular Mini Olympics, filled with friendly competition, cheering and plenty of fun.

๐ฟ๐๏ธ Year 6 Camp Day 2 Highlights: Part 1 ๐ฟ๐๏ธ
What a big day for our Year 6 campers!
They started with a peaceful morning paddle on kayaks, soaking up the sunshine and calm water. After that, it was time to switch gears and jump on the BMX bikes, where they zoomed around the island with plenty of smiles and confidence.
The fun kept going all morning, and these photos capture just a little of the excitement.

๐ Year 6 Camp โ Milson Island Day 1! ๐โบ
Year 6 kicked off camp with a smooth bus ride, followed by a scenic ferry trip where they scored the best seats on the roof and soaked up the sunshine and stunning views.
Once they arrived at Milson Island, lunch was servedโฆ nachos! After that, the fun really began. Their first activity was the obstacle course, then a raft-building challenge in the pool, and even some free-time swimming.
After a well-earned break to relax, everyone enjoyed schnitzel for dinner before heading into a night of camp games. Year 6 had a blast meeting and competing with students from other schools, making the evening fun and social.

Our Year 6 students hit the beach for their Surf Ed program at Freshwater, building surf skills, confidence, and learning all about ocean safety.
A HUGE shout-out to our brave and determined Year 6 crew. The instructors were impressed with your calm, respectful, and adventurous vibes. You gave it your all and had a blast doing it! ๐๐

๐๐ Kindergartenโs Country Adventure at Calmsley Hill City Farm! ๐พ๐
Our littlest learners had an unforgettable day at Calmsley Farm, getting up close with some very friendly farm animals and learning all about life on the land.
From patting goats and sheep, milking a cow, to watching the working dog show and riding on the tractor trailer, the excitement never stopped. The smiles say it all.
Thank you to our wonderful teachers and parent helpers for making the day such a success. What a brilliant way for Kindergarten to bring their learning to life!

๐๐ Stage 2 Netball Gala Day ๐๐
What a fantastic day our Year 3 and 4 students had at the Netball Gala Day in Pennant Hills on Tuesday! With plenty of sunshine (and a bit of rain), teamwork and encouragement, it was wonderful to see every student getting involved and giving their best on the courts.
A big thank you to our teachers and helpers who made the day possible. Well done, Stage 2! You represented St Gerardโs with great pride and school spirit! ๐๐

Congratulations to all our Stage 2 students who took part in this yearโs CAPS public speaking competition. ๐ Each student showed courage, confidence and creativity as they spoke in front of their peers and teachers.

On Monday, we welcomed Constable Aldridge and Senior Constable Miles from Ryde Police Area Command to St Gerardโs. They spoke with our students about cyber security and the importance of making safe choices when using technology.
From protecting personal information to knowing what to do if something doesnโt feel right, the visit gave our students valuable knowledge to help them stay safe online. ๐โจ

Friday morning was all about celebrating our awesome Dads and father figures with a delicious breakfast, a beautiful liturgy, and plenty of jerseys on show for Jersey Day!
