Today was a fantastic day for our K-4 students as we celebrated the 2026 National Simultaneous Storytime with CHS! There was so much excitement and joy as everyone joined in to share the experience.
A highlight was having ex-Roselea students return and read with us, making the day even more special for both staff and students. The official book for this year’s event was Luna Roo: The Kangaroo Baller, written by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd. It was wonderful to see the students captivated by the story and inspired by the celebration of reading.
National Simultaneous Storytime is all about bringing the community together, fostering a love for books, and encouraging imagination. We look forward to more joyful reading experiences in the future!

Our Year 1 students have been having an incredible time exploring coding and robotics with Blue Bots in the classroom! It’s fantastic to see everyone so engaged, problem-solving together, and having fun while learning new skills. The excitement and teamwork are inspiring as they use creativity and critical thinking to guide their Blue Bots through different challenges. We love seeing our learners discover new possibilities and enjoy every moment at school!
