In busy venues, most ‘near misses’ happen at pinch points — entrances, stairwells, toilets, merch counters, and narrow corridors. A quick walk-through before doors open can show you where people are likely to bunch up. Which areas get congested first in your space — and what could you move, widen, or staff differently?

We’re proud to share that our CEO, Lindsay Smith, has been recognised as a Leader in Safety at the 2026 BEAM Awards.
The BEAM Awards recognise leaders who are driving real change in safety culture — not just compliance, but how safety is lived and embedded every day.
A huge thank you to our team, clients and community for being part of the journey.

When visitors arrive, the space stops behaving the way staff expect it to.
People pause suddenly, look up instead of down, follow each other, and move in groups rather than straight lines.
A quick way to manage this is to ask:
– Where do people slow down or stop?
– Where do they change direction?
– What do they focus on instead of hazards?
Walking the space as if you’re visiting for the first time is often the easiest way to spot risks before they show up.
