What a busy term Year 2 are having!
ππ
We were thrilled to welcome author Marcus Addison to our school, who inspired our Year 2 students with a fantastic presentation of his book, The Not So Little Tree. πβ¨
Building on that excitement, students have been hard at work preparing for Book Week! Theyβve been harnessing their literacy skills through partner reading and learning how to craft compelling persuasive paragraphs. Working both collaboratively and independently, students constructed persuasive arguments to defend the wolf from The True Story of the Three Little Pigs.
Is the wolf the hero or the villain? Youβll have to read their paragraphs to find out! πΊπ·
