Congratulations to all Mayfield State School students who competed at today's Queensland Cross Country Relay Championships at Nudgee College.
A special congratulations to our 8-year-old girls' team for placing 3rd and our 7-year-old girls' team for placing 2nd. 🎉
We are proud of every student who represented our school with determination, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Due to our athletics carnivals this week, there will be no run club Friday.

Senior Athletics on today and Junior tomorrow. Coffee van available as well as great BBQ options from our OSHC team raising money for Wakakirri.

What a wonderful Under 8s celebration at Mayfield State School!

Our Prep to Year 2 students, staff and community members enjoyed a fantastic morning of fun and learning. Despite a little drizzle, everyone had a great time. It was wonderful to see so many children exploring, creating, playing and celebrating together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, Renee Coffey MP, Bunnings Warehouse Australia and Whites Hill State College, for helping to make this year’s Under 8s Day so memorable!

Just a reminder that our Under 8s event will be going ahead tomorrow, regardless of the weather! 🌧️☀️

To make sure everyone stays comfortable if the rain joins us again, activities will now be held in the Macca and surrounding areas.

We can't wait to see all our little learners and their families for a fun-filled day of activities and adventure!

This is your last chance to get your enrolments in for your child starting Prep next year (born 1 Jul 2021 - 30 Jun 2022). Doing so will mean your child is part of the range of transition events from Monday 15th June through to the end of the year.

Congratulations to Luca who recently represented Riverside Rays at the Met East Cross Country trials.
Luca has also been selected in the Met East Hockey team to compete at the State Titles. Way to go Luca!

Over the next 2 Fridays, students born 2018 and older will be participating in 200m Time trials. Only 6 students from each age group run the 200m Final on sports day. Please make sure your child is in correct footwear and uniform to participate. Every student that participates in the trials will be awarded points for their house.

Please note that students born in 2018 will run their 800m on Friday 12th June at 2:30pm. This is due to the year 2 excursion. All other age groups will run their 800m on Wednesday 17th June as per usual.
