These delicious muesli bars are SO much better than anything you’ll find in the store! Chewy and delicious, they are easy to make and are also nut-free and freezer friendly.

Science week is in full swing at Cardiff Community Preschool our educators have been supporting the preschoolers inquiry through experiences that explore cause and effect, prediction’s, patterns, hypothesising, measurement, forces and motion, materials and living things.

We as educators have thoroughly enjoyed supporting the preschoolers to further develop their critical thinking skills through curiosity and hands on learning experiences. 🔬🔭🧪👩‍🔬🥼

Throughout term 3 our preschoolers have been busy exploring, creating, discovering and learning through play.

From digging and building in the sand, to sensory experiences, imaginative small world play, nature explorations and creative art experiences every moment has been an opportunity to wonder, investigate and learn.

This week families will receive a postcard with a QR code to share additional knowledge about our mini museum project that we have loaned from the Australian Museum in Sydney.

This program provides our preschooler’s with hands-on learning to inspire our younger generation to be environmentally and culturally aware. Through this program the preschoolers have been further educating themselves on First Nations communities & Sea Country.

The preschoolers are engaging in lesson plan 3 & 4 this week of a 5 part lesson plan.

Happening Today :)

Please help us raise much needed awareness for children battling cancer. Every year more than 950 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in Australia. With treatment starting instantly they face, on average, more than 6 months away from their school and school friends.

This year, we're taking part in Fight Cancer Foundation's Footy Colours Day to help these kids! All the money we raise will help the Fight Cancer Foundation to provide accomodation and support for cancer patients and their families and fund vital life-saving research into cancer treatment and cures.

The accommodation centres offer families living with cancer a home away from home when they need it most, reducing the financial and emotional burden of a cancer diagnosis.

Please if you are in a position to do so donate what you can and help us at Cardiff Community Preschool make a difference to the lives of kids with cancer!

Good evening families,

We are excited to welcome all of our preschoolers back next week for the beginning of Term 3! Preschool returns Monday the 20th of July 2026. We hope everyone has enjoyed a wonderful winter holiday break and is feeling refreshed and ready for another exciting term of exploration and learning at preschool.

Our educators can't wait to see all of our children, hear about their holidays, reconnect with our families and begin making new memories together for the remainder of 2026.
