There's not too many opportunities to rep Coach Jess' hometown of , so it was welcome surprise to see AnneElizabeth Brownless show up to training in her Calgary Flames shirt to provide the coach with a little hometown nostalgia! 

According to Google, the distance from Newcastle NSW to Calgary, Alberta Canada is 13,090 kms. 

That is a 17-20 hr flight without taking into account driving to the airport, check-in, luggage, immigration, taxis (Ubers), etc. It's a full 24 hour trip, let alone the International Date Line! 

It's a ways away, or more colloquially 'just down the road and over the pond.' 

You might be surprised to find these other gems in Cowtown if you ever find yourself there!

We just wanted to say thank you to Paul Daniel and Warrior World Gym for the invitation to attend their Cutman / Cornerman seminar held by Ken Barbour this Saturday. 

We assumed we knew enough, but we didn't know it all.

Beyond the art of hand wrapping, so many insights into the 60 seconds in between rounds to revive and advance your fighter. An outstanding couple of hours of fight education.

It takes a lot for Coach Jess to throw on his best pluggers, but it's always worth it for events like this with the boys:
