A big shout-out to Georgia W (Y10), Nadia Y (Y12) and Griffyn K (Y10), who are making the most of their passion for debating!

These enthusiastic debaters are embracing the opportunity to extend their skills and experience at the University of Queensland Debating Society's Schools Day at St Joseph’s College, Gregory Terrace.

It's about so much more than debating! It's about exploring new ideas, challenging their thinking, meeting like-minded students, building connections and, most importantly, having fun doing something they love.

We love seeing our students take the initiative to seek out opportunities, pursue their interests and extend their experiences beyond the classroom.

We also wish our Dance Teams all the very best as they perform at the Dance X State Finals!

What a wonderful celebration of learning! Our Kokowara students proudly shared their Showcase of Learning with families, demonstrating the knowledge, creativity and confidence they have developed throughout the term.

As part of their studies exploring Indigenous perspectives and Australian stories, students brought Dreaming Stories to life through engaging dramatic performances, including The Rainbow Serpent and Tiddalick the Frog. Through storytelling, movement and role-play, they captivated their audience while showcasing their growing understanding of these important cultural narratives.

We are incredibly proud of the courage, enthusiasm and teamwork displayed by our students. Their performances reflected not only what they have learned, but also the joy they have found in discovering Australia's rich storytelling traditions.

Thank you to our Kokowara teachers and families for supporting our students on their learning journey
