TEACHER AIDE APPRECIATION WEEK ❤️ This week, we celebrate the wonderful teacher aides at Caravonica.

Every day, our teacher aides re-explain concepts, adapt resources, deliver targeted interventions, encourage another attempt and help students participate successfully in their learning.

Much of this important work happens quietly, but it does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

We see the patience, skill, flexibility and genuine care our teacher aides bring to their work - and we are incredibly grateful for the difference they make each day.

🎶 THE JOY OF SINGING IS BACK | It has been wonderful to see such an exciting resurgence of singing and choir at Caravonica! Mrs Davis loved being entertained by our talented students before school on Tuesday morning. Their enthusiasm, confidence and beautiful voices were a joyful way to begin the day.

A huge thank you to Mrs Hurley and our choir students for bringing music to life across our school once again! ❤️🎵

WHO WILL BE COMING TO SCHOOL TOMORROW? | Will we meet brave heroes, clever detectives, magical creatures, adventurous explorers… or someone completely unexpected?

Our Book Week Dress-Up Day is TOMORROW Friday 28 August! Come dressed as your favourite storybook character and bring along the book your character is from.

POKEMON CLUB | We had 16 Pokemon Trainers join Mr Ryan and Mrs Hurley at Pokemon Club today. Students are exercising their problem solving, maths, and reading skills as they learn to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game. We are so grateful to Hobby Forge in Smithfield for donating 24 deck boxes. Thank you for supporting our Pokemon Club!

Any students in Year 4-6 are welcome to come and learn each Wednesday during First Break.
