Thank you to our wonderful Capel Primary School Choir for their excellent performances at our NAIDOC Week Assembly today. The choir performed Take a Walk in My Country by Troy Cassar-Daley and then led the school in a performance of Wanjoo by Gina Williams. What excellent performances and testament to all of the practice the students have put in over this year.
In our assembly we celebrated the '50 years of Deadly' NAIDOC theme with a special look at Pastor Sir Doug Nicholls achievements and we thought about how we as individuals can also be the 'first'. Just imagine being the first Olympian from Capel Primary School!

At the end of Term 2, Reece from Country Football WA visited Capel Primary School. It was fantastic to see our senior students so engaged in this footy clinic, with some great skills being learned to help us prepare for the upcoming Winter Carnival.

Unplugged.🔌
During recess, students can choose to spend time in the library if they would like a quieter space.
“Unplugged” is completely optional and is there for any student who feels they would benefit from some quiet time during their break. Students are still welcome to play outside with their friends as usual—this is simply another choice available to them.
We know every child is different, and some children recharge by being active, while others enjoy a quieter break. We hope this provides a safe, welcoming space for those who need it.

🌧️🎳 Rainy days don’t stop the fun at Capel Primary! 🎳🌧️

When the weather keeps us indoors, our Great Outdoors Club simply swaps the fresh air for the bowling lanes! 😄🙌

There were plenty of smiles, strikes 🎯, spares and lots of laughter as our students enjoyed a fantastic afternoon together. It’s all about staying active, building friendships and making the most of every opportunity, rain or shine!
