Milestones Early Learning Capalaba

We were delighted to host the special women in our lives at Milestones yesterday, to commemorate the significance they hold for us.

Thank you to everyone who attended, it brings us joy to witness our families interacting with their children in our centre.

On Thursday, we carried out a spontaneous lockdown exercise at our service, which our children navigated seamlessly owing to their monthly training.

Miss Cat converted this drill into an entertaining activity by surprising the hidden children, thus making it a positive experience.

In accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations, specifically Regulation 97, our emergency and evacuation procedures are regularly reviewed and practiced every three months to ensure our preparedness.

Appreciation is extended to Kate from Reversegarbage for leading an informative incursion with our Kindergarten class.

During this engaging activity, the children sorted various materials by color, generating attractive rainbow patterns, and subsequently crafted beautiful wind chimes by threading items onto strings.

Everyone one of our educators have successfully completed CPR and first aid training tonight, ensuring they are fully equipped to respond effectively in the event of injuries, illnesses, anaphylaxis, asthma attacks, or serious incidents.

At Milestones Early Learning Capalaba, we are thrilled to have Amy, a skilled hairdresser, providing monthly haircuts for our young learners.

The sessions were filled with laughter and excitement as the children requested various styles.

As the weather cools down, little bodies need warm, nourishing food to keep them going 🍛

Big feelings can be loud, exhausting, and sometimes arrive at the worst possible moment 🌻
