Catholic Primary Education P-6 Welcome to the St Luke's Catholic School page. This page is administered by the St Luke's Leadership team.
This page has been created for parents and caregivers of current students and will be used to relay brief messages to the school community. The school newsletter however will continue to be the main channel of communication between the school and home.

Junior carnival has kicked off with some hotly contested events, including the very tricky Egg and Spoon race, the fast paced Hurdles, the traditional Long Jump and High Jump, that school favourite of Tunnel Ball and the ever popular Parachute. All athletes are at their peak performance today, the wet course isnโt bothering but we are grateful the sun is shining.

Welcome to the week ahead - Week 8!
We have a busy last three weeks with many events occurring before the holidays. With this in mind, our Learner Qualities and Behaviour Expectations need to remain in the forefront of our minds, words and actions. Rita Resilience and Show Persistence are our fortnightly focus and particularly relevant as we are feeling the cooler weather, feeling fatigued and have many athletic events ahead.

Under 8s Celebrations!
The Prep to Yr 2 students were led in a beautiful prayer celebration to start our Under 8s fun this morning. Thank you to 1Blue, Mrs Tyler and Mrs Jennings for the amazing readings, prayers, songs and dance. It was a wonderful way to commence the day.
Then the Prep to Yr 2 students were treated with phenomenal activities prepared by the teachers. They got to enjoy a bubble disco, decorating biscuits, made magic wands, shaving cream fun, playdough, face painting, sensory games, mobilo, box construction, an obstacle course and other fun activities. The students also enjoyed a visit from Old MacDonald Travelling Farm baby animals.
Our Kindy friends also joined us and enjoyed all the fun!
We were also treated to a visit from Aidan and Bailey Graham from New Wave Hoops who led basketball skills and games for the Prep to Yr 2 students. We also then played a student vs staff basketball game which was a lot of fun and well done to the staff on a comprehensive victory over the students!
Thank you to all our amazing staff for setting up, planning and preparing and then cleaning up after such a fun morning celebrating little people!
