Teddy Bear Picnic-themed first birthday for Thomas was everything childhood should be… nature, imagination, laughter, and hands-on fun. Surrounded by beautiful trees, warm sunshine, birds singing, and curious wildlife, it truly felt like the perfect morning outdoors.

From sensory trays and potion making to teddy bear adventures, every little explorer had the chance to create, discover, and get wonderfully messy in the best way possible.

There’s something so special about slowing down, playing outside, and letting children connect with nature through open-ended play. 💚

There’s something so magical about mornings at Kalinga Park. Nestled beneath this beautiful tree, our little pirates and mermaids had the dreamiest place to splash, scoop, pour and explore.

Our Pirates & Mermaids Messy Play is packed with hands-on sensory fun, imagination, and plenty of opportunities to learn through play (and yes… get wonderfully messy!).

A teddy bear picnic under the trees… does it get any sweeter than this? 🧸🌿

This beautiful celebration at the Historic River Mill was the perfect mix of nature, messy play, and childhood magic. Nestled beneath the stunning trees overlooking the river, the setup created the perfect space for little ones to explore, imagine, and make memories.

A huge shout-out to our amazing Eva for bringing this gorgeous party to life on the Gold Coast.

🦕🚜 DINOS & DIGGERS HAS ARRIVED! 🚜🦕

Our very first Dinos & Diggers session at the beautiful Wellington Point Farm was everything we hoped it would be! This week’s theme is packed with hands-on adventures, including:

🦖 Dinosaur excavation digs
🧱 Brick laying and construction play
🐊 Swamp sensory adventures
🌿 Dinosaur small world play
🚜 Plenty of diggers, trucks and open-ended construction fun

One of our favourite new additions has to be the dinosaur excavation in the sand—it’s going to be so much fun watching the little ones discover hidden treasures! We also can’t get enough of all the new custom pieces we’ve created to bring this theme to life.

As always, almost everything is made using food-based ingredients or natural resources, with just one shaving cream tray included for extra sensory fun.

🚗🏁 Start your engines… this Hot Rod & Race Car Messy Play Party was one for the books! ❤️🖤🏁

Celebrating a very special little Mr. TWO, this setup was packed with bright colours, racing fun, and so many custom details. From the race track-inspired sensory play to the ring of fire, every station was designed to fuel little imaginations.

Our new 3D printer has completely changed the game! We were able to create custom pieces like Hot Wheels-inspired signs, number plates, tyre bowls, and so many unique little touches that made this party feel extra special.

Hands down, this has become one of our favourite themes to create! Watching everything come together was just as exciting as seeing the little racers dive in and play.

✨ What a fantastic day back at Our Patch Vacation Care at New Farm State School! 🌿💚

This was our second visit with this amazing team, and once again we were welcomed with the best energy, wonderful staff, and such happy, creative kids. We absolutely loved being back!

Our senior group got creative with decoupage flower pots, tearing colourful napkins and using Mod Podge to design their own unique creations. Whether they become flower pots, pencil holders, or little keepsake containers, every piece was completely different and reflected each child’s personality. 🌸🖌️

Our junior group stepped into the world of nature with our mini terrarium workshop. Each child chose their own fairy, animal, or insect before building a magical little world using natural materials like paperbark, rocks, leaves, dried flowers, moss, and tiny mushrooms. Watching their imaginations come to life was so special! 🍄🧚🌿

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Our Patch at New Farm State School for having us back. Your organisation, enthusiasm, and support made the whole day run so smoothly, and we can’t wait to visit again!
