This morning, our Kindergarten children went on an excursion up to Coolnwynpin School to join them for their Under 8’s Day. They had lots of fun, exploring all the different activities that were set up in the hall. We saw lots of people we knew so it was a great way to connect with our local community. We want to say thank you to Coolnwynpin State School and all of our parent volunteers that helped.

This month our Kindergarten children have shown a strong interest in animals. Miss Wei and Miss Hema have set up exciting provocations in the room environment to spark interest and learning. We base our learning and experiences on children’s interests and development needs. We have limited space in our Kindergarten room on Mondays and Fridays only, please feel free to ring us on 0732451365 for a chat about vacancies.

Yesterday some of our educators visited Wynnum Manly Community Kindergarten. It was a great opportunity to see different environments and gain different perspectives on setting up provocations for learning. We delved into Indigenous culture and how to make the most of incursions. We all had a wonderful time and learnt so much.....

Our Prekindergarten educators have been reflecting and working hard to create a space that is inviting, warm and welcoming and we think it looks pretty good.
