Our Nursery children explored an autumn inspired sensory tray filled with natural materials. The children enjoyed touching, holding and investigating pinecones, leaves, seed pods, wood pieces and shells, using their senses to explore different textures, shapes and colours.

Sensory experiences like this support children’s curiosity, fine motor development and early learning about the natural world. The warm autumn colours created a beautiful, calming space for the children to explore at their own pace.

We love providing hands-on experiences that connect our youngest learners with nature. 🍁🌿

🌱🐛We enjoyed a visit from Little Garden Growers, where they took part in the Camilla the Caterpillar Gardening Experience.

Through music, movement and storytelling, the children learned about the life cycle of a caterpillar and how butterflies and other pollinators help plants grow. They helped search the garden for Camilla, watched her transform into a butterfly, and even planted flowers and herbs into our garden.

This fun and interactive experience helped the children learn about nature, gardening and how we can care for the environment. 🌸🦋

Thank you to Little Garden Growers for such a wonderful incursion!

Today we set up our very own worm farm! 🪱🌿

The children helped prepare the bedding and were so excited to gently explore and observe the worms up close. There were lots of curious faces, brave hands and wonderful conversations about how worms help our environment 🌏

We can’t wait to start adding our food scraps and watch our worm farm grow!

Big feelings can be loud, exhausting, and sometimes arrive at the worst possible moment 🌻

🚒🔥 Our Junior Kindy children had a blast dressing up as firefighters today!
They loved using the hose to put out the “fire” while learning about all the important jobs firefighters do to help keep our community safe.

Today’s learning was hands-on and delicious!
Each room chose their own muffin flavour, with our Babies Room choosing banana 🍌 The babies took turns mixing, pouring and tasting, building confidence, independence and having lots of fun along the way.
