Artist Statement: 
Painting while in lockdown, I was meaningfully occupied and expressed myself happily and positively, despite the chaos surrounding me. 
I wanted to express how hectic the world around us had become but at the same time reframe mental stress with bright, hopeful colours and motives. 
The painting developed intuitively as my positive nature clashed with the hostile, chaotic surroundings. – I ensured I was winning by reframing the chaos with happiness, which I felt being in a secure positive environment in my art studio.
