After operating as Canterbury Norwood Kindergarten and prior to that as Canterbury Norwood Baptist Kindergarten for a very, very long time, we have changed our name to reflect our new location in the new Canterbury Community Precinct aside the beautiful Canterbury Gardens 🌲🍂🍁🍃🌸
Our new name is Canterbury Gardens Kindergarten!
We may have a new location and new name, but we are still the same kindergarten family with the same friendly and highly experienced teachers and welcoming family community 💞
We are so excited to settle into our new home for the start of 2023!

This week was a very momentous week for Canterbury Norwood Kindergarten. It was our final week of classes in 2022 as well as our final week of classes at our home in Boronia Street. We have created many happy and special memories at our kindergarten’s home, and we are so excited to continue making these incredible memories at our new location at the new Canterbury Community Precinct in Kendall Street in 2023. The Caterpillars and Butterflies students and parents/carers would like to extend a huge thanks to the wonderful teachers and staff of Canterbury Norwood Kindergarten for your dedication to our children and for bringing them so much joy this year. We wish our graduating Butterflies group all the best with their transition to primary school, and wish for an exciting time for this year’s Caterpillars group moving onto Butterflies. We have limited vacancies available in our Butterflies (4 year old) group for 2023. Enrolments are available through the Boroondara Kindergarten Central Enrolment Scheme (BKCES), or feel free to contact us if you’d like to have a chat. 🖍️🛴🧩🎨✏️

It’s already Term 3 holidays! We have had a wonderful term 3 at Canterbury Norwood. The children have planted seeds in time for Spring, we have had incursions, learned about Australia and the first peoples, celebrated birthdays together, learned many new songs, read many new books, and most of all had fun with friends! We can’t wait to welcome back the Caterpillars and Butterflies groups for Term 4! Charlotte our kinder bunny is having a holiday of her own with a kinder family ❤️ Wishing everyone a happy Term 3 holiday!
