We're cleaning up Australia (or at least a little bit of it) on Sunday the 5th of March. If you’d like to get involved, we’re meeting at the Children's Playground at Colmslie Beach Reserve (152 Colmslie Road, Murarrie) at 3pm. Everyone is welcome. We have bags and gloves so all you need to do is bring yourself, a hat, sunscreen and maybe a friend! Information is available via: https://www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au/fundraisers/gracespeare/colmslie-beach

Just because we can’t do something at school today, it doesn’t mean we won’t be able to do it tomorrow. If you’re stuck, change your approach and remember the power of “yet.”

Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on Saturday by attending our Free Science Workshops. We had a fun morning learning about the properties of liquids and acid-base reactions in order to make our lava lamp lookalike!

Did you know that learning is more efficient in short bursts rather than long study periods? This is because:
- You have more time to process information.
- There are more opportunities to return to the topic.
- It’s easier to schedule so will actually get done.
