As the heat begins to cool off, and the koolbardies/ magpies sing their distinctive tunes, we welcome Djeran, the Noongar Season of Adulthood. 🎶

Traditionally for Noongars, oozing red gum from Marri trees was collected and dried for medicinal uses such as preventing bleeding and infection.

Blossoms from the Marri tree were soaked in water to make a sweet drink.

A big weekend for 2 of our team who attended the Child Australia ECLD Immersion conference.
