Canning Vale Prekindy is a kindergarten program for 3 year olds in the year before they attend school based kindergarten. With a calm and inviting indoor environment, a beautiful natural outdoor environment and highly qualified and experienced educators, our program invites children to wonder, explore, discover, connect and delight through a balance of child and educator initiated play experiences.

As the heat begins to cool off, and the koolbardies/ magpies sing their distinctive tunes, we welcome Djeran, the Noongar Season of Adulthood. 🎶

Traditionally for Noongars, oozing red gum from Marri trees was collected and dried for medicinal uses such as preventing bleeding and infection.

Blossoms from the Marri tree were soaked in water to make a sweet drink.
