EARLY YEARS T-SHIRTS
After months of planning, today at assembly, Mrs Tonkin had the exciting job of launching the St Emilie’s Early Years T-Shirt, which is now on sale at our uniform supplier, Perm A Pleat in Forrestdale.
The shirts, which are available in all of the St Emilie’s House Colours, have been designed by two of our children. Their designs were selected after submitting an entry in to a design competition.
Children in the Early Years (3YO Kindy, Kindy and Pre Primary) will still be able to choose what they come dressed to school in, however, the new t-shirts will provide another option for the children, highlighting their connectedness and pride in being a St Emilies kid!
Well done to all involved in the preparation of the new shirts that are truly child friendly and which capture the essence of the Early Years at St Emilie’s. We look forward to seeing these vibrant colours on display around the school.

GROWING GRACEFUL RUNNERS
A huge congratulations to Gannon House who today were announced as the 2026 House Cross Country champions! The first picture below is the House Cross Country Shield with our winning House Captains.
The competition in 2026 was very tight with less than 30 points separating the first placed House and the fourth placed House. Congratulations to all of our runners.
We are also pleased to announce two very inspirational Interschool Cross Country Captains who will lead our children on Thursday at Tomato Lake (second photo below). Congratulations to all of our children who have been given the opportunity to represent our school.

HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY CARNIVAL
For those of you who were in attendance on Friday at the House Cross Country Carnival, I am sure you will agree that we were blessed with perfect conditions.
As always, it was terrific to see the boys and girls from right across the school running their hearts out at the carnival. From our littlest Year One to our tallest Year Six, as a community we should be so proud of the boys and girls and the energy and spirit that was on display during the day.
Thank you to Mr Davis and Mr Lowry for preparing the children and the carnival, and to Mr Cogger for setting up the day.
This Thursday, children from St Emilies will travel to Tomato Lake to participate in the Interschool Cross Country. We wish all our runners all the very best.
Tomorrow at Monday Assembly, the winning House from Friday’s carnival will be shared!
Who will take out the 2026 House Cross Country shield?
