๐ Fatherโs Day 2026 ๐ This Fatherโs Day, First TaeKwonDo WA celebrates the dads who donโt just encourage their children from the sidelines โ they step onto the Dojang floor and train alongside them.
There is something incredibly powerful about a father and child learning TaeKwonDo together. Every class becomes an opportunity to demonstrate, through action, the importance of discipline, respect, perseverance and determination.
Children learn from the examples they see. When Dad turns up, trains hard, faces challenges and keeps going when things get difficult, he is teaching lessons that extend well beyond martial arts.
The journey isn't always easy. There are techniques that take time to master, physical challenges that test us and moments when progress can feel slow. Sharing those experiences creates a unique bond between father and child โ one built on encouragement, achievement and overcoming obstacles together.
And years from now, it may not be the individual kicks, punches or patterns they remember most. It will be the time spent together, the lessons learned and the memories created on the Dojang floor.
A father's greatest influence often comes not from what he says, but from what he does. Acta Non Verba โ Deeds, Not Words.
To all the fathers, dads, grandfathers and father figures in our First TaeKwonDo WA family โ thank you for leading by example, supporting your children and helping them become stronger, more confident and resilient individuals.
From everyone at First TaeKwonDo WA, we wish all the incredible dads a very Happy Fatherโs Day! โค๏ธ๐ฅ
