Important Community Safety Reminder

The school has recently been contacted by Fairfield City Council regarding concerning and unsafe behaviour involving a small number of students in the Dutton Plaza car park, Cabramatta.

These behaviours present significant safety risks and could result in serious injury, property damage, police involvement, and substantial disciplinary consequences.

As a school community, we expect all students to demonstrate respect, responsibility, and safe behaviour at all times, both within and beyond the school grounds.

Students are reminded of our school values and our motto, "We Care", and that their conduct in the wider community reflects not only on themselves, but also on their families and our school.

Parents and carers are encouraged to discuss the importance of making safe and responsible choices with their children, particularly when travelling to and from school.

Please note that NSW Police are now conducting regular patrols of the area. Any student identified as being involved in vandalism or other unlawful behaviour may be subject to police action, school disciplinary measures, and the recovery of costs associated with any damage caused.

By working together, we can continue to foster a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all members of our community.

Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation.

Reconciliation Week

National Sorry Day occurs every year on the 26th of May. On this day we acknowledge the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. This day leads into Reconciliation Week which takes place each year, from the 27th of May to the 3rd of June. During this time, we recognise two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey - the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision respectively.

Our Year 12 SRC’s Canleychella PATS (Prefect Afternoon Tea) was an absolute hit! We welcomed over 20 schools for an unforgettable afternoon filled with laughter, connection, and plenty of fun. Attendees participated in a variety of stimulating activities, including bingo, a balloon relay race, and TikTok challenges.

The fashion show emerged as a standout highlight, with enthusiastic participation and strong support from all involved. Guests also enjoyed delicious catering provided by La Mono, with the experience perfectly concluded by a refreshing gelato treat.

It was inspiring to witness students from numerous schools come together to celebrate their leadership achievements, forge new friendships, and create lasting memories.

Our Eid-Al-Adha Dinner was a deeply humbling evening that brought our community together in the most meaningful way.

To sit among families, students, staff and guests, sharing food, stories and moments of reflection, was truly special. The kindness, respect and unity felt throughout the evening was a reminder of the values that connect us all.

We are sincerely grateful to everyone who attended and supported the night. Your presence and kindness made the evening truly meaningful and it created memories that our community will cherish for a long time.

Eid Mubarak.
