Our Mango Fundraiser is back - the perfect way to stock up on yummy summer fruit fresh from the farm whilst also supporting our school!
We’re selling Bowen Special Mangoes (Kensington Pride) packed in single layer trays. Each tray weight approximately 7kg and contains between 12-22 mangoes dependant on size.

The KSS Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Monday 31 March at 6:00pm at the school.

Why you should come along

The P&C is about bringing parents, carers, students, and staff together to build a strong, supportive and respectful school community. Being part of the P&C is a great way to be involved in your child's school.

Regardless of whether you

• have the time and energy to get a project up and running,
• want to be involved in fundraising
• can only hold a pair of tongs at a school BBQ once a year

or something in between, there is a role for you in the P&C.

You can also nominate for the following office bearer roles:

* President
* Vice President
* Secretary
* Treasurer

Welcome to 2025!

This is a call out for new and existing parents and carers to consider joining the Kingsford Smith School P&C. We need people to nominate for office bearer roles or just to get involved in any small way you can. Many hands make light work!

We are hoping to get a uniform shop established this year and would love some help with organising and implementing that so we could all pay less and have better access to school uniforms.

We will be having the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Term 1 to elect a new executive committee. We will send around a notification prior to the meeting, so please consider coming along.

Just a reminder that, starting in 2025, Year 6 students will be returning to the primary school model, consistent with local area primary school sites.

Year 6 students are to wear the primary school uniform (or their commemorative Year 6 tops ordered through the school).
Year 7-8 students will wear the middle school uniform.
Year 9-10 students will wear the senior school uniform.
Both uniform suppliers have been updated with the correct uniform specifications. Should any families have purchased the incorrect top for Year 6 students, both stores are happy to facilitate exchanges.
