Creativity in hand with composition and performance allows for the musician to truly feel and understand the music, every note gains meaning. As vocabulary helps an author form sentences, technique helps a musician understand theory, both subjects exploring the role of creativity.

In the end, even the greatest performances are not remembered for their technicality but for how they made others feel. Creating music with creativity gives life to the song, as technique shapes the sound.

At Do Re Mi, we have been exploring the role of creativity in how we play and learn, bringing colour and life to our classes.
