Want a head start or a helping hand in parenting children?
The Parenting Children Course is designed to help parents and carers of 0 to 10-year-olds, and parents-to-be, to equip their children for life.
Over 5 sessions the course will help you to:
- build strong foundations
- learn how to meet your children's needs
- set boundaries
- develop healthy relationships
- consider the long-term aim for your children
The course emphasises the role of the family, and acknowledges that there is no instant recipe or formula for bringing up children, and different situations and different children call for different approaches. However, there is acceptance of the idea that some general principles apply to all families, and that there is great value in discussions with other parents.

Want to deepen your understanding and practical application of God's word in your life?
Whether you are a student, at home, work full-time, or retired, why not consider studying part-time through Alphacrucis University College.
Term 3 enrolments are now open and the topic is 'Christian Disciplines', which will examine such things as worship and celebration; opening our self to God; relinquishing the false self; hearing God's word; and sharing our life with others.
There are three different levels of study ranging from simple participation through to Certificate IV accreditation.
We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30 (starting 20th July) at LifeUC Belconnen campus. Class time together is fun and safe place to bounce ideas and learn from one another...and we have chocolate!
