Cple (Centre of Professional Learning and Education - RTO 88148) is Communities at Work's registered training organisation in Canberra, offering professional development training and delivering nationally recognised qualifications in the Early Childhood Education and Care and the Business sectors. The CPLE team will arm you with the skills, knowledge and hands-on experience you need to kickstart or accelerate a career in the early childhood sector. We can also assist you in starting a career in Business with the right qualification. Our professional development training sessions and workshops are for individuals across a myriad of community services sectors. These training sessions can be booked by anyone looking to upskill, increase their knowledge, or gain an understanding of professional practices on a session-by-session basis. Additionally, we offer customised professional development training for children’s services settings across Canberra. We offer flexible learning, funded/subsidised study options, and comprehensive training support for your study. We’re the three-time proud winner of the Large Employer of the Year Award at the ACT Training Awards 2019, 2020 and 2021 and demonstrate excellence in the vocational education and training sector. Our methods consist of a range of teaching and learning strategies. These include face-to-face workshops, workshop tasks, projects, online learning, and hands-on experience within the work environment. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we take our obligation to support learners very seriously and ensure the highest quality of training and assessment services. Last week we had one of the greatest nights ever!

Four of the five finalists for ACT Trainee of the Year were our students, and our trainer Navjot was named Runner-Up for ACT VET Teacher/Trainer of the Year.

We’re pretty proud of what that says about the people learning and training with us.

Our students are building skills that can take them further, with trainers in their corner who know their individual goals, support their progress and want to see them succeed.

A huge congratulations to Navjot (Jot), who has been named Runner-Up ACT VET Teacher/Trainer of the Year at the ACT Training Awards!

This award recognises an outstanding VET teacher or trainer who makes a significant difference to learners, industry and vocational education and training in the ACT.

For Jot, supporting students is about much more than delivering a qualification. She creates an encouraging environment where learners feel confident to challenge themselves, develop new skills and keep moving towards their goals.

Her manager, Rebecca, says Jot’s dedication and care are clear in everything she does:
“When I asked her what her dream job was, she answered, ‘This! Being a trainer and assessor.’ She truly loves what she does, and it shows.”

Jot’s students describe her as a strong and inspiring woman who genuinely wants to see them succeed. Their progress, confidence and career growth are a reflection of the care and commitment she brings to her role every day.

🏆 Nathan Snow is the 2026 ACT Trainee of the Year!

Nathan completed his Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and is now finishing his Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care with Cple.

This award recognises his learning, commitment, growth, and leadership in early childhood education, as he continues to build his skills and experience, with a long-term goal of working in childhood psychology.

We’re incredibly proud to see how far he’s come and even more excited to see where he goes next.
