Wonderschool Taylor - Last week, our community celebrated National Pyjama Day in support of The Pyjama Foundation, a foundation close to many at Wonderschool Taylor.

Our children and educators enjoyed cosy pyjamas, sensory experiences and storytelling. Our older children also watched The Snail and the Whale, bringing a much-loved storybook to life on screen and encouraging conversations about friendship, adventure and imagination.

Thank you to our families, children and educators for supporting a cause that helps children in foster care access learning, mentoring and opportunities to thrive.

Together, we have shown that even the cosiest days can make a meaningful difference. 💙🧸🌙

Wonderschool Conder Team Connection 🎨

On Sunday, our fabulous Wonderschool Conder team enjoyed a fun Paint and Sip session, with a very special subject: Winnie, our much-loved Wonderschool Conder dog!

It was a lovely opportunity for the team to relax, connect and unleash their inner creativity. We think their portraits of Winnie turned out beautifully! They are now on display in the centre.

Wonderschool Conder -

On Thursday, Shannon from First Step and Highland Dance School visited our Toddler One children at Wonderschool Conder.

The children have been exploring different dance styles each week, learning not only the movements but also the culture and history behind each dance. This week’s focus was on Highland Dancing from Scotland.

Shannon shared that the traditional swords used in Highland Dancing are crossed, and dancers move carefully over and around them, aiming not to touch the blades. The children were fascinated as Shannon performed a beautiful Scottish dance piece, before guiding them through a step-by-step introduction to Highland Dancing.

There was plenty of laughter, concentration and joy throughout the session. At the end, the children proudly clapped and cheered for themselves and each other.

A very special thank you to Shannon for sharing this wonderful cultural experience with our Toddler One children.

The children at Wonderschool Woden have been very adventurous and exploring their local community. They have also been very responsible by picking up the rubbish in the area (using gloves and being guided by the teachers).

Wonderschool Woden - 🌿✨ Mirror & Nature Play ✨🌿
During our community walks, the children have shown a growing interest in nature, pointing out trees, flowers, and leaves. They’re also fascinated by reflections they spot along the way.
To build on this curiosity, Cindy extended the children’s learning with a mirror play experience that Karma set up. Using flowers and herbs, the children explored colours, textures, and reflections from different angles.

They were excited and confident, noticing beautiful details in both nature and their own reflections. 💚
