There are lots of different styles of Karate which all focus on the purpose of self defence. Our style of karate is called Kyokushin. Typically, a Kyokushin class will focus on fitness, conditioning, pad & bag work, flexibility and plenty rounds

- Week 6 Board breaking seminar
- Week 7 CBR Challenge
- Week 8 Grading

Term 1-26 (Week 1)
Canberra Kyokushin Karate will be participating in the upcoming Multicultural Festival this weekend.
Date: Sunday, 8 Feb 2026
Location: Glebe Park, Canberra (Stall G9-10)
Performance (2:30pm - 3:15pm)
🥋 Sensei Jeff and a group of students will bring you a fascinating Kyokushin performance - Kihon, kata, board break, self defence, sparring, etc.
Chicken yakitori (10am - 5pm)
🐔 Our performance team will also run a food stall and serve the public hundreds of freshly charcoal-grilled chicken skewers on the day!
