Milestones week of 🧬 science

🧬 The children participated in a variety of fun and engaging science activities. They explored cause and effect by creating fizzy colours using baking soda, vinegar and food colouring. The children were excited to observe the bubbling and fizzing reactions as the ingredients mixed together.

🧪the theme for the science was Plants. Children did various hands-on science activities which help children learn about nature, plant anatomy, and physical science. During the group time, children explore the life cycle of plants by talking about seeds, soil, and sunlight through the flash cards, examining the real seeds and plants. Children learn the basic needs of plants, including water, air, and nutrients. This discussion builds early science vocabulary and sparks curiosity about nature. Then, we did the experiment and observation on how the plant absorb the water. Children place white flowers into cups of red, pink, green, and yellow colored water to watch how stems transport liquids. Children observed the flower changing colours over week and learn how plant systems pull water upward into the petals. This visual experiment teaches children how plants drink and distribute moisture throughout their structures.
